B-Three COO Participates in Review of Carnegie Mellon University Graduate Program

On Friday, April 7, B-Three Solutions Chief Operating Officer, Doug Nesler, participated on an elite panel of IT and public policy professionals to provide an academic review the Carnegie Mellon University “Master of Science in Public Policy and Management” program.

Nesler was one 13 panelists from a variety of technology, education, and public administration backgrounds who participated in the round-table discussion

The Carnegie Mellon MSPPM program combines both information technology and public policy curricula to tout one of the highest-ranked public policy programs in the nation.

A veteran in IT management, Nesler was selected as a representative of the information technology industry to provide expertise and insight on what IT employers are seeking in new candidates, and what important qualities are currently lacking in the pool of existing job seekers. Nesler’s input on the panel will be used to further improve the program syllabus to ensure higher quality MSPPM graduates.

Other participating panelists included those from Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Technology Council, Allegheny Conference on Community Development, UPMC, and Uber Technologies, among others.
